Dedicated to supporting the five core corporate social responsibility (CSR pillars of environmental protection, education, music, arts and sports, driving culture, and charity and other humanitarian assistance programs, Mercedes-Benz Star Fund is an integrated, systematic and long-term platform to manage the contributions of the automotive social causes in China. It is an association created in June 2010 by Mercedes-Benz (China Ltd. and China Youth Development Foundation (CYDF. The original Star Fund, with 30 million yuan, was one of the largest collections of charity launch of China's auto industry and the most that the automaker had ever used to start a charity fund throughout the world outside Germany. The fund operates under the motto "Nurturing tomorrow's world" and represents an integrated approach to Mercedes-Benz in China and its long-term commitment to social causes in China.

In September 2007, Mercedes-Benz (China Ltd established its Legacy Green Program, a plan for long-term cooperation with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO and the Chinese authorities to preserve natural heritage sites in China.

To date, has 29 million yuan in the professional protection of endangered species and World Heritage in China. These include:

This was part of a collaboration agreement for three years with the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda (CCRCGP.

In July 2009, Lushan Mountain was chosen as the third World Heritage Site to receive support for preservation under the Green Legacy Program.

To commemorate the first anniversary of the kindergarten program and Mercedes-Benz Panda celebrate the first birthday pandas and Rui Xing Xing Hui in July 2010, some Mercedes-Benz dealers, employees and customers visited the Bifengxia Base Giant Panda Conservation in Ya'an. Students of the Mercedes-Benz Shifang school was also to bring their best wishes to the pandas.

Daimler and Mercedes-Benz has been working with some of the best in China higher education institutions in developing programs and providing scholarships and exchange opportunities for students with career potential.

More attention has been paid to the needs of development and education of poor children in rural China.

Daimler began this development work in 1994, and some of the achievements of the Company are as follows:

On May 9, 2010, two years after the earthquake in Sichuan, the first school term began in Shifang Mercedes-Benz elementary school, thanks to a donation of 5.15 million yuan for reconstruction work.

In June 2010, the Fund Star Mercedes-Benz introduced the "Inspiring the Future" program music room happy to provide music education to more than 40,000 students in 125 schools across the country hope. Mercedes-Benz has supported relief efforts and reconstruction in disaster and its consequences, which is in line with the company's commitment to Chinese society.

The Mercedes-Benz Star Fund enables the company to respond immediately to crises in an efficient manner, providing immediate support to groups as needed. The following is a brief summary of some of the reasons the company has helped so far:

Daimler Northeast Asia joined Mercedes-Benz and its joint venture in China in the donation of more than 10 million yuan in relief funds immediately to the sites of earthquake disaster in Sichuan in 2008, and for construction after the disaster.

On April 14, 2010, after the earthquake in Yushu in Qinghai Province, Northeast Asia Daimler, Mercedes-Benz and its joint ventures supply took another 5 million yuan.

These three areas of education is full of possibilities and in need of inspiration and passion, and the following are what Mercedes-Benz are considered milestones:

Music and arts

In early 2008, the beginning of a strategic alliance with the National Center for the Performing Arts (NCPA was announced.
