Movers & Shakers: New roles at DTZ

Lenka Vodrážková has been promoted to head of property management at the Prague office of international property consultants DTZ. She replaces Martin Kubík, who left the company at the end of April. Prior to her promotion, Vodrážková headed the retail part of this department. With more than eight years’ experience managing commercial properties, she has so far focused primarily on the management of shopping centers. The team led by Vodrážková has been successfully managing the shopping centers of Olomouc City (aAim, OC Všebořice in Ústí nad Labem and Královo Pole in Brno (Bainbridge as well as OC Olympia in Mladá Boleslav, OC Olympia Teplice and OC Šestka (CA Immo, and the Galerie Eurovea (Ballymore in Slovakia. Vodrážková was also involved in the remodeling of Galerie Butovice (in collaboration with the management of ING Real Estate Finance.

In her new role, she will be responsible for managing office space and industrial buildings that DTZ manages for clients like Valad, SEB, Ikano, Heitman and AXA REIM.

Simon Orr is the newest member to join the office agency department at DTZ, led by Bert Hesselink. The Glasgow native has been involved in both the Czech and British property market for nearly 10 years. He gained his most recent experience with real estate companies at CERES Property Services in Prague; at the same time, he is a post-graduate student in property valuation and development at the University of Glasgow.

Throughout his career, Simon has worked not only on the side of developers and end users but also for financing institutions (Clydebank, where he was responsible for major clients.

Martin Vogl has been appointed the new CEO of AXA Bank’s AXA CR and AXA SR, the firm’s branches in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, respectively.

Vogl has worked for AXA Bank since 2001 in various roles including director of strategic development and director of AXA private management.

The Norton Rose Group has expanded and now includes two law firms: Ogilvy Renault LLP of Canada and Deneys Reitz Inc of South Africa.

Ogilvy Renault becomes Norton Rose OR LLP, and Deneys Reitz becomes Norton Rose South Africa.

The Norton Rose Group now has 2,600 lawyers, including 795 partners, with 39 offices throughout Europe, Asia Pacific, Canada, Africa and the Middle East.

Milana Chamberlain, managing partner of Norton Rose, said in a statement, «Considering the ever-increasing international scope of activities of Czech corporate entities, the  Norton Rose Group expansion represents an important step which is also highly relevant to Czech clients.»
