2 being sought in Fayette Co.

FAYATTE, Iowa — Early Christmas morning, the Fayette County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant located at 106 Mechanic St. after receiving a report of an illegal marijuana grow located at that residence.

The sheriff's office, with assistance from the Iowa State Patrol discovered numerous marijuana plants, equipment, chemicals and heat lamps used in the manufacturing of marijuana.

Arrest warrants were issued for two men and authorities are asking for the public's help in finding them

Deputies are seeking Jerek J. Bowe, 25, of Fayette, for manufacturing of marijuana, a class "B" felony, and five counts of failure to affix a drug tax stamp, all Class "D" felonies, and Duke M. Ewan, 21, of Fayette, for manufacturing marijuana and six counts of failure to affix a drug tax stamp.

The Fayette County K-9 Immo was instrumental in the investigation and obtaining a search warrant in this investigation.

Both Bowe and Ewan were not at the residence during the search. If you know where they are, contact the Fayette County Sheriff's Office at (563 422-6067.
