Your dream ride/car: 1970 Oldsmobile 442 convertible. I used to own a 1970 Chevy Monte Carlo, until my wife and I started a family.

1. What is your role at the dealership?
Sales Manager, managing customer relations and a staff of 200 salespeople.

2. Tell us about the products you sell
New and used Hyundais and every off-brand product used that there is, from Toyotas to Mercedes. We have 200 new and 200 used vehicles on our lot now. The Hyundai's selling point is its quality and what you get for the price. You get a lot of car for the money. The warranty is almost double what other manufacturers' offer. Our Elantra is the North American Car of 2012, awarded by Car and Driver magazine's consumer reports.

3. What do you like best about your job?
The interaction with people who are our customers and the people I work with. Everyone here is on the same page and wants to succeed. It's good working with people like that.
 
4. What is the most challenging part of your job?
Keeping the sales staff motivated on everyday tasks. Sales is tough, and you get into a rut. I tell them you'll sell a car with the next customer. Stay positive.

5. If you could have any job in the auto industry, what would it be?
I don't know if I would change. I don't want to do anything else. I get to interact with customers and sales staff every day. It's a constantly changing job — there's always something new happening. It's a busy job that keeps you on your toes.

6. What advice would you give to someone who wants to enter the industry?
It's a great industry to be in. But you have to be self-motivated. It has its ups and downs, but you are in charge of your own potential. The only thing holding you back will be you.
