Hundreds of public sector workers have been participating in a march through Aberdeen, in protest against education cuts.
Union Street The event is organized by the Education Institute of Scotland (EIS teachers' union.
The EIA said the council wanted to show the strength of feeling of "cuts".
The local authority said that while there has been a contraction in financing large sums of money still goes into the schools.
