EMC launches Formula 1-themed Service Week

«We are honored to welcome such renowned dignitaries and are pleased to have their support during the Mercedes-Benz Service Week which we have themed around the F1 event,» praised Mr. Kamal Rafih, General Manager of EMC. «EMC is dedicated to inspiring emerging talents among the local community and we’re delighted that one of the region’s top race car drivers is sharing this occasion with our partners, customers and employees. Mr. Al Mehairi’s presence is an important motivation for talented performance drivers to pursue their dreams, especially during Abu Dhabi’s F1 season. «

As the core element of the Regional Mercedes-Benz Service Week is «Safety» which also plays a key role in today’s Motorsport, the presence of Saeed Al Mehairi is very much appreciated.

During the event Mr. Al Mehairi commented, «I am very excited to be part of this plan. People from my generation need an inspiration to follow and learn from. «Safety» is the most important element in the motorsport and during our normal day to day time. For us to build an awareness to young drivers requires a lot of work but that’s why I’m glad to be part of this so I can be able to pass on my knowledge on how we can have fun driving on the track but at the same time to be safe.»

Born in 1987, Mr. Al Mehairi is the first and youngest Emirati racing instructor at the Yas Marina Circuit. Currently, he holds a International Automobile Federation (FIA International Circuit B 2011 Racing License. Mr. Al Mehairi was chosen out of more than 700 Emirati racing drivers to represent the United Arab Emirates (UAE in Europe positioning him as an inspiration to many talented young Emiratis who yearn to become internationally recognized official race drivers.

EMC’s overall business strategy focuses on customers and prospects in order to ensure their experience with the dealership is not only satisfactory, but exceeds all their expectations. During the Mercedes-Benz Service Week this year, customers will enjoy a wide range of value-added services, special discounts, great prizes and other surprises.

Mr. Thomas May, General After Sales Manager of EMC’s Passenger Cars, added, «We have an air-conditioned reception with 18 active reception points where our customers meet one of our certified Mercedes-Benz service advisors to discuss and agree on the service and maintenance requirements of the vehicle. For the Service Week we have created a exhibition character and prepared a lot of activities and surprises for Mercedes-Benz owners.»

«Starting from 29 October 2011 to 10 November 2011, all Mercedes-Benz owners of Abu Dhabi and Al Ain are invited and may take advantage of our partners’ attractive offers. We have also arranged for the first Vehicle Basics Training for Ladies to further emphasize our responsibility towards promoting road safety. We are offering 2 sessions in Abu Dhabi and 1 in Al Ain in order to familiarize ladies with basic vehicle technology and simple ways to help themselves – especially in emergency situations. The training will also give them more confidence in regards to service requirements of their vehicles,» he added.
